PLC-controlled industrial weighing applications, from silo weighing to bag filling scales.
Weighing is where production cost is measured directly. A badly designed filling system can give a few grams too much in every bag and turn into a serious annual loss; if it gives too little, it creates a legal problem. The systems we build for industrial weighing applications are:

The hardware we use
Our applications include load cells, weighing indicators and PLC-controlled weighing systems. The system is configured according to the accuracy and speed the job requires:
- Load cell selection, mounting hardware and mechanical isolation (preventing side forces)
- Fast and stable measurement with a weighing indicator
- PLC integration for recipe management and automatic sequencing
- Coarse/fine flow and in-flight (free fall) compensation
- Automatic tare and calibration procedures
Why in-flight compensation matters: The product still in the air after the gate closes also falls into the hopper. If that quantity is not learned automatically and subtracted, a constant excess builds into every fill. On the PLC side we build a structure that tunes this compensation by itself.

Reporting
Fill counts, total production, shift-based reporting and consumption records per recipe can be taken from the SCADA. If required, data can be transferred to your existing ERP system.
